Virginia Residential Landlord Tenant Act (VRLTA)
Legal Seminar with Grimes Creasy

1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

The rental housing industry is constantly changing and it is imperative that we keep our office personnel aware of these changes. Your NOI is on the line.  Acquiring a real understanding of the Virginia Residential Landlord and Tenant Act (VRLTA) while keeping abreast of court decisions is essential if you wish to gain a return on investment in the apartment industry. Failure to be prepared for these changes could end up costing you big time, causing you to lose in court and your community to lose value.

Grimes Creasy will be covering several updates, including Omnibus Amendments to Virginia’s Rental Housing Act and Changes to the Unlawful Detainer Process.  This is a session you do not want to miss!  3 CECs

All Systems Go!  Disaster Response Is All In The Planning

Presented by Clark Goodman, ServPro

2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

With all of the recent natural disasters, this session will focus on preparing for fire, water and major storm events that could hit your property.  This course has been specifically designed to teach and explain the special procedures used by maintenance professionals in storm and large loss response, contaminated water and fire response.  Attendees will discuss how the response required in a storm event or large loss must meet the challenges and complexities of those situations while focusing on safety for everyone involved - the restorer, the on-site staff, the property owner and the adjuster.  It is important to remember that disasters don't schedule appointments, so why should you wait for them?  Make a plan before it's too late!  2 CECs
