Join VAMA as we offer this two part series covering everything you want to know about the Virginia Residential Landlord Tenant Act (VRLTA).

PART TWO 6/13/24:

A firm understanding of the elements outlined in Part 1 are required to understand Part 2.  Do not take Part 2 until you have either Part 1 or have a firm understanding of the foundations of the act.

Now that you have a firm understanding of foundations of the Act it’s time to build off of that and get into operations.  The key to smooth operations is understanding language and putting them in real life operational context.  That’s why this session will focus on concepts such as:

  • Lease Breach Issues and the Proper use of Notices
  • You have received a notice or sent a notice.  What next?

A fun twist on the familiar! Join VAMA | Central Virginia for the annual Reverse Trade Show where Property Management Companies are the exhibitors and the Supplier Members are the attendees!  Limited Availability!

How it works: Participating Property Management Members will staff their booths with 2-4 decision makers (Property Managers, Regional Managers, Maintenance Supervisors, etc) at a time. Supplier Members will rotate around the booths for structured 5 minute interviews.

Why Participate?
Suppliers will get ‘quality-time' with key decision makers from the Greater Richmond Area's leading apartment owners and management companies, interview with target prospects and enjoy informal networking with all member exhibitors. There will be an equal playing field for all Supplier Members, no sponsorships or preferences available. Supplier Member attendance strictly limited to a maximum of 2 employees per Supplier company.

Since space is limited to 20 supplier companies that are current members in good standing with VAMA.  All interested suppliers will need to enter the lottery.  All lottery entries must be submitted by 3/31/24 and we will draw 20 supplier companies on April 3, 2024 to participate in this event.  The amount of supplier member registrations depends on how many Owner/manager companies register to attend. If we get more than 20 Management companies, we will be able to add more supplier companies.

We do have a traditional trade show in Richmond on October 19th,

email kathy@vamaonline.org for information on that event.
